Premier Plant Producers Ltd was established by Peter’s father, Joh Overvoorde in 1949. Peter is the fifth generation of the Overvoorde family in horticulture and started the young plant commercial propagation business in 1976. Peter has seen the business through its growth from a fledgling company to its current position as a leader within the industry. Peter now manages 44-acres across two sites. His son, Will, has now joined the business to follow in his father’s footsteps and is the sixth generation of the family in horticulture.

Following a career as a Chartered Building Surveyor, Will has assumed a position in the business as General Nursery Manager where he oversees the operations and production within the business and has a thirst for knowledge when it comes to the family horticultural business while learning the trade and following in the Dutch footsteps of his grandfather and father. Will joined Premier Plant Producers Ltd in 2019 and is the sixth generation of the Overvoorde family in horticulture.
