Our Story

Premier Plant Producers Ltd is a wholesale young plant propagator specialising in salads, brassicas, and tree saplings, in a selection of tray styles and sizes, from pressed peat blocks to loose filled modules. Premier Plant Producers Ltd is an independent family business established in 1949 by Joh Overvoorde after coming from Holland to settle in Hull, East Yorkshire. It is now run by his son Peter, and his grandson Will, who are the fifth and sixth generation of the Overvoorde family in horticulture. Using 17 acres of modern heated greenhouses in combination with a further six acres of outdoor hardening-off areas.
